The aim of the conference was to explore policy options for responsible research, sustainability and innovation. The conference was jointly organised by the PE2020 (Public Engagement Innovation for Horizon 2020) and the CASI (Public Participation in Developing a Common Framework for Assessment and Management of Sustainable Innovation) projects and it focused on the intersection of public engagement and sustainable innovation. The conference brought together a broad range of experts, stakeholders, policy-makers, entrepreneurs, researchers, regional authorities and Commission officials.
